Rimi Baltic Group × Packoorang

CHALLENGE

Rimi Baltic online store every month for deliveries were using more than 250,000 paper bags, which accounted for over 130 tons of paper waste per year. In the program they were looking for more sustainable solution for delivery packaging.

 

SOLUTION

An environmentally friendly alternative to single-use packaging for Rimi online store deliveries.

With guidance from the program, Rimi Baltic and Norwegian startup Packoorang developed waste-free packaging for grocery delivery. 

This packaging solution allows Rimi customers to receive their online purchases in a convenient, flexible, waterproof bag instead of paper bags. Packoorang bag can be reused at least 50-100 times, it is foldable and made of a material approved for the packaging and storage of foodstuffs.

Citadele × Compensate

CHALLENGE

The transportation sector is a significant polluter worldwide, and passenger cars are at the forefront when it comes to CO2 emissions. As a responsible ecosystem actor, Citadele wanted to make sure their clients are aware of the impact their next purchase might have on the environment, including allowing them to compensate for it.

SOLUTION

A tool showcasing and comparing the environmental impact of cars that Citadele's leasing clients are looking at.

 

Citadele and a Finnish startup Compensate worked on a solution that would allow Citadele to calculate compensation fees and provide ways to compensate their client carbon footprint. Including one-time up-front compensation for the leasing period and a pay-as-you-go compensation option for CO2 on a monthly basis.

Daugavpils Regional Hospital × Dynaccurate

CHALLENGE

To benefit their patients, Daugavpils Regional Hospital aimed to digitise chemotherapy processes for more efficient and safer workflow.

​

SOLUTION

Digital platform that would include all chemotherapy protocols and give the oncology department the ability to view and analyse all data in a more effective way.

 

Daugavpils Regional Hospital worked with a Luxembourg startup Dynaccurate on a next-generation clinical platform that could capture all chemotherapy data and securely share it. The platform is patient-oriented and integrates well with other hospital systems. AI is a key capability of this platform, giving Daugavpils Regional Hospital a unique head start for future analytics.

Latvenergo × Industrial Analytics

CHALLENGE

Daily checks of Latvenergo power plants are mostly a pile of paperwork. To make the process more efficient and sustainable, Latvenergo sought solutions to digitize it. 

​

SOLUTION

An app to ensure digital inspection walks and to monitor the status of equipment in a power plant.

 

Latvenergo and a German startup Industrial Analytics developed PlantWalk App to make on-site daily checks digital. The app is a paperless solution for inspection walks that allows to record the conditions on a plant, provides data insights for the operator, and has a customer feedback option.
